We have added a link to the Michigan Horse Trails Association (MHTA) Incident Reporting Form on the Home Page (and at the bottom of this post). MHTA is asking that you report all incidents occurring on our Michigan horse trails and equestrian campgrounds by using this form. To understand the issues riders face on the trails and in our camps, we need to know what is happening.
Please also report all incidents to the agency manager where the incident took place. For Ortonville / Hadley Hills you can tell any of the DNR team coming to the campground or day use area. If you do not see any of them, contact the Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area office at 3871 Herd Rd, Metamora MI 48455 or call at 810-797-4439. If it is a more serious issue that needs immediate attention, please call the Ranger cell at 810-836-0397. (You may wish to program these numbers in your cell.) Feel free to submit a copy of this report to the agency.
